Autoplast aims to recover special plastic material from the automotive sector, especially fuel tanks, through the construction of an experimental recycling plant and through the development of a selective collection network, to be implemented in the Province of Brescia.
Autoplast aims to recover special plastic material from the automotive sector, especially fuel tanks, through the construction of an experimental recycling plant and through the development of a selective collection network, to be implemented in the Province of Brescia.
In particular, the objectives of the project are:
Recovery of plastic material from fuel tanks.
Construction and start-up of an industrial plant for the treatment of collected plastic waste and its transformation into reusable material.
Development and organisation of a supply chain in the province of Brescia.
Active involvement of a social cooperative for the recovery, sorting and separation of the withdrawn components.
A higher percentage of regenerated granules is used than at present, which reduces the use of virgin raw material and CO2 emissions into the environment.
